KINGSTON, Jamaica – After racing 15 times and coming close on several occasions, Bridal Blush finally went by the winning post in front in the Caymanas Saturday sixth.
That first win for the Dane Dawkins ridden and Patrick Taylor trained three-year-old bay filly was achieved in a three-year-old maiden condition call at 4 ½ furlongs.
It wasn’t much of a race, as Bridal Blush racing at odds of 9-5, went to the lead from early and pulled further away from rivals over the final two furlongs.
Whispering Magic (Youville Pinnock) at odds of 36-1 finished second with third going to the 5-1 chance Carol Strike (Dick Cardenas).
