KINGSTON, Jamaica – The ninth race on Saturday (September 16) is the annual renewal of the Poorlittlerichgirl, an Open Allowance event featuring nine horses racing over seven furlongs.

The Quick Galloper analyses these nine contenders in what seems to be an exciting race. The analysis is presented in post-position order.

– IS THAT A FACT aims for a fourth consecutive win, capturing the attention of spectators with impressive victories across various classes. After defeating Rojorn Di Pilot and I've Got Magic, he enters the Poorlittlerichgirl with a light weight of 114 lb. Facing his toughest competition yet, this race will reveal how talented this foreign horse truly is. Winning from the front, however, may prove difficult in this field.

– OUTBIDDER is steadily adjusting to life in Open Allowance and has an outside chance of hitting the board.

– REGAL AND ROYAL is outmatched in this competition.

– BLUE VINYL demonstrated his skills just a week ago by defeating Overnight rivals over nine furlongs and 25 yards without his jockey needing the whip. The former double Classic race winner finds a favorable distance at seven furlongs with 118 lb on his back. Blue Vinyl's readiness for a quick return to action remains uncertain.

– FURTHER AND BEYOND, a former Horse of the Year, revived his career with a June 25 victory after overcoming health issues and changing stables. If he can return to top form, he'll be tough to beat thanks to his ability to stay near the pace and strike at will.

– D HEAD CORNERSTONE is gradually adapting to Open Allowance but is unlikely to triumph on Saturday.

– SWEET MAJESTY can be dismissed from consideration.

– PERFECT BREW finished just 1 ½ lengths behind highly-rated mare She's My Destiny 35 days ago. Seeking a second Open Allowance victory, he excels when coming from behind the pace and is expected to be in contention during the closing stages of this race.

– JORDON REIGN'S returned from a long break to finish fifth, 11 lengths behind She's My Destiny and Perfect Brew on August 12. More suited to this distance, he may need another run before being fully competitive against this challenging field.
