KINGSTON, Jamaica – The 2-5 favourite in the second race on the Saturday card at Caymanas Park, Okahumpka duly obliged with the minimum amount of fuss.
In this straight five event for Restricted Allowance 1V – non-winners of three -five-year-olds, Okahumpka drawn on the outside was put on the lead from the off and despite a challenge from Seven Eleven (Kiaman McGregor) in the mid-section of the race, Okahumpka had not a worry.
Synchronize charged home for second with Seven Eleven in the third spot.
Okahumpka gave veteran trainer Errol Pottinger his third winner for the year.
