KINGSTON, Jamaica – Foreigner Excessive Force ridden by Linton Steadman and trained by Philip Feanny put it over his local rivals with an emphatic victory is the Caymanas Saturday eighth which was the Aston Commock Memorial Trophy. This trophy race was run at a mile.
From the off, Steadman steadied Excessive Force on the lead and for the first five furlongs was troubled by Eagle One (Carlos Blake).
Excessive Force without much ado shook off Eagle One and pressed the accelerator in the stretch drive to win by the wide margin of 9 ½ lengths.
Awesome Treasure (Dane Nelson) was second with another Feanny trainee Battle Dancer (Youville Pinnock) third.
