KINGSTON, Jamaica – The Caymanas Saturday ninth was listed as the Cash Pot ‘Super Dash’ Trophy going five furlongs round. Yet, in the end, all the speed crumbled and it was left to the come from behind sprint specialist Duke - his ninth overall - to claim the win in this Open Allowance offering.

Trained by Gary Subratie and ridden by Robert Halledeen, Duke clocked 1:00.0 for the distance.

Patriarch (Dick Cardenas) set off from the one draw with Victory Turn (Javaniel Patterson) shooting by after a furlong was completed. Father Partick, slowly out of the gates, rallied on the outside to catch up with the leaders.

Father Patrick got the lead close to entering the lane but once the horses settled down for the final tilt, Halledeen got rolling on Duke and the five-year-old responded with his trademark burst to win by 1 1/4 lengths. Laban (Youville Pinnock) another run on sort finished second with Father Patrick third.
