Trainer Carl Anderson claimed a spanking first double after his Sunshine Cat won the second of 10 races on today’s 10-race card just moments ago at Caymanas. This was after the Anderson trained Run Dazzle caused a 39-1 upset under Trevor Simpson in the day’s first race.
It was a romp for SUnshine Cat, a five-year-old chestnut mare who won the Restricted Allowance 4 – five-year-olds and up event over 6 ½ furlongs by an increasing 13 ½ with jockey Anthony Thomas being a mere navigator.
Anderson is also the owner and breeder of Sunshine Cat.
Second at a distance was Astro with First Selection occupying the third slot.
