KINGSTON, Jamaica – Former jockey now trainer Fernando Geddes scored his second winner on consecutive race days following the win just moments ago as his charge Chief Secretariat emerged from what can be called a wrestling match with Bigbrowngreyhope and apprentice Tevin Foster to score by just over a length.
The race run over a mile saw a rampaging battle in the stretch involving Nelson and Foster but the experience and confidence of Nelson paid off in the end
Second went to Bigbrowngreyhope with third going to 7-1 chance Hail Mary.
The winning time for a mile was 1:45.0.
