KINGSTON, Jamaica – Co-champion jockey Dane Nelson got into his usual winning groove when he won the Caymanas Saturday sixth on the Ryan Williams conditioned Original Train at odds of 5-2.
Original Train could not go with the early pacesetters running way behind in the first two of the four-furlong contest for five-year-old and upwards claimers ($180,000 - $150,000).
Crossing over to the main track there was a sudden burst by Original Train who went clear to claim victory by all of seven lengths.
Sweet Destiny (Andre Powell) was second and Abogado (Anthony Thomas) third.
