KINGSTON, Jamaica – After experiencing a rare period without any winners, jockey Dane “Warrior Chief” Nelson broke the ice just moments ago when he had to pull out all the stops to stave off the late rush of Secret Law with apprentice Romario Smith in the saddle to win the seventh race on the card.
Flying Bullet trained by Gary Griffiths was Nelson’s 14th winner for the year and the fourth for the trainer.
Secret Law was second with Alexa’s Star behind in third.
