DaCosta 2, Nunes 2 as Brandy gets home for the champion, Anthony Thomas puts one on Cardenas

KINGSTON, Jamaica – Champion trainer Wayne DaCosta drew level on two winners apiece with rival Anthony Nunes as Brandy who recent returned from surgery easily took race 10 on the Diamond Mile race card, a Restricted Allowance 3-year-old and up, non-winners of two event over eight furlongs.

Ridden by leading rider Anthony Thomas, who by virtue of the win moved to 10 ahead of Dick Cardenas after starting the day 9 in front, Brandy the 3-5 favourite won in a good time of 1:40.0 by an increasing 9 ½ lengths.

Second was Dyna’s Pride (Shane Ellis) at 2-1 and third was the slow starting Reggae Road at 2-1 with Dane Nelson in the saddle.
