Race named after Puddy Pooh

KINGSTON, Jamaica – The seventh race on Saturday (March 12), is at the Overnight Allowance for three-year-old and upwards horses going 7 ½ furlongs.
Seven horses are entered, Crimson, Blood Song, Kay Boy, Sentient, I’ve Got Magic, Atlantic Blue, and High Diplomacy.
Of this lot of seven, Blood Song, Kay Boy, Atlantic Blue, and High Diplomacy. These three simply deal with the rest at this time.
Sentient is the most accomplished of the three remaining horses with a record of ten wins, 10-second place finishes, and 10 third-place results from 48 career starts. At the moment Sentient is on the rebound, racing for the first time in 140 days. If the true Sentient appears on the track on Saturday, then winning will be easy. That, however, does not seem possible as Sentient will need much more time to mend.
I’ve Got Magic is the only foreigner and the youngest member of the seven racing at four years. I’ve Got Magic makes his second appearance in the Overnight grade having finished second in his first attempt 10 days ago. The youth of I’ve Got Magic plus his fitness are factors that will assist his chances of winning.
Crimson, a stablemate of Sentient, has raced twice in 2022, with two third-place finishes to his credit. Those two efforts must aid Crimson in his bid to score his first victory since July 31, 2021. Crimson is now fit and ready to take care of these.
Crimson is therefore the choice.
