KINGSTON, Jamaica – The announcement came late that in-training apprentice Anthony Radcliffe was replacing his colleague Marshall Porter aboard Awesome Cat in the seventh race which was Division Two of the apprentice in-training only race at Caymanas Park.
And as it turned out in the four-straight contest, the chance ride became the winning ride as Awesome Cat at odds on 4-5 was a very easy winner of the event with Radcliffe in antics mode before reaching the winning post.
Second about two lengths behind Awesome Cat was Two Steps Up at 15-1. This went to Lucky Nine.
