KINGSTON, Jamaica – Apprentice Anthony Allen was a lucky campaigner as after replacing his colleague apprentice Romario Smith on Capturemyship, Allen made good use of the opportunity with a good front running display to take the fifth race on the Friday programme at Caymanas Park.
Capturemyship trained by Paul Charlton took over the lead in the five-furlong round event for $550,000 - $500,000 claimers after a furlong went by and after circling rivals just kept going and going for a five– length victory at odds of 4-5.
Second was Mr Pantheon (Raddesh Roman – 8-1) with Adoring Lady (Osive Donegal – 12-1) third.
This was Allen’s third winner for this season.
