KINGSTON, Jamaica – Trained Wayne DaCosta landed a double on the 11-race card, the first of two Diamond Mile race days when Big Black Nation won the sixth event for $250,000 - $200,000 claimers – three-year-olds and up run - over the five straight course.

DaCosta had already saddled King Arthur in the third race and watched as apprentice Raddesh Roman waited on Big Black Nation as Super Mal (Jemar Jackson) ran the early splits.

With a furlong and a half to go, Big Black Nation stepped up and that was that for the rest of the field winning at odds of 1-2 on. Big Black Nation won by 7 1/2 lengths.

Second went to Super Mal with third going to Miss  Nancy at odds of 8-1.
