Awesome Treasure continues good form of trainer Gary Subratie in Caymanas Sunday seventh

KINGSTON, Jamaica – The recently formed winning partnership of jockey Tevin Foster and trainer Gary Subratie produced another winner this time the US bred filly Awesome Treasure in the Caymanas Sunday seventh.

Awesome Treasure was held behind the early leader in about fourth place as Crafty and Ready (Youville Pinnock) set cracking splits of 22.4 x 46.2. Crafty and Ready came into the stretch with a slight lead as Coppertone (Chris Mamdeen) was the closest challenger.

Foster then piloted Awesome Treasure through horses in the middle of the track and from then it was relatively easy for the imported filly.

Alexa’s Choice ran on for second with Coppertone holding for third.
