KINGSTON, Jamaica – It was as foretold, Money Magnet as ran out a rather easy winner of the Eileen Cliggott Memorial Trophy run over 6 ½ furlongs at Caymanas Park minutes ago.
Money Magnet’s second win for the season came after a spirited performance by stablemate Peking Cruz who finished second with Houdini’s Magic third.
The Money Magnet, Peking Cruz, first and second meant that trained Richard Azan saddled the quinella in the race.
Money Magnet recorded a fast 1:17.4 with splits of 23.1 x 46.1 x 1:09.4.
