KINGSTON, JAMAICA – Mr Universe demonstrated his love for the five straight and his well-known and documented speed when he won the Caymanas Sunday sixth.
With Anthony Thomas in the saddle, Mr Universe in the field of 10 runners set off in front from the front from the number four draw and quickly went across the track to the outside with the lead in tow.
Mr Universe trained by Gregory Fortsyth settled nicely and was never threatened thereafter.
Universal Boss (Dane Nelson) was second and Raw Liquid third.
Both Mr Universe and Universal Boss were claimed for $1,000,000 each.
Mr Universe provided Forsyth with his fifth winner this year.
