KINGSTON, Jamaica – After being disqualified on January 1, 2021, and starting three times since that date, Gorgeous Gift was able to shed the maiden tag with an easy victory in the Caymanas Saturday third.
It was first time starter Miss Francis (Natalie Berger) who set the early splits. After leaving the three-furlong pole, Patterson as the question of Gorgeous Gift who responded by taking the lead.
No challengers emerged in the straight as Gorgeous Gift went on to score by eight lengths. Miss Francis was a fighting second with Miss AJC (Dane Nelson) third.
Patterson who is having a good start to the 2021 season was riding his 11th winner.
