KINGSTON, Jamaica – Unruly Boss, a chestnut colt by Bern Identity - Force Factor made it two wins from three starts when he brushed aside nine rivals to win the Caymanas Saturday (October 2, 2021) first as the odds-on 1-5 favourite.
That second win by Unruly Boss came in a three-year-old (non-winners of two) event going six furlongs.
Anthony Thomas on Unruly Boss for trainer Jason DaCosta sat behind the leaders Vanessa (Linton Steadman) and Heart of the Sea (Abigail Able).
Gathering momentum rounding the turn for home, Unruly Boss got closer to the leaders as Vanessa took the field inside the final two furlongs of the stretch drive with the advantage but Thomas and Unruly Boss got rolling and the duo easily swept by Vanessa to win by 9 ½ lengths.
Will The Conquerer (Samantha Fletcher) passed a tiring Vanessa for second place.
