WINNING POST QUICK GALLOP

KINGSTON, Jamaica - The ninth race on Saturday, October 28, 2023, at Caymanas Park features three-year-old locally bred horses who haven't yet won two races and three-year-old and older foreign-bred maiden horses.

Ten contenders will compete in this event over nine furlongs and 25 yards.

The Quick Galloper's analysis of the ten starters is provided below for Quickgallop.com readers:

1 - MR SENATOR, a roan colt (born May 1) by Natural Selection out of Khadiliah, is trained by Anthony Nunes with Dane Dawkins aboard. He struggled in his first non-two races in non-two, and needs more time to adapt. Note that Mr Senator will race without a visor.

2 - PROPELLANT, a bay colt (USA born March 30) by Into Mischief out of Quality Way, is trained by Anthony Nunes with Tevin Foster in the saddle. This foreign maiden will face the challenge of navigating the nine furlongs and 25 yards in his first local effort.  Though Propellant hasn't stood out during morning exercise, and as such, The Quick Galloper will keep wait and see.

3 - GOLDEN LOYALTY, a chestnut colt (born June 23) by Western Warrior out of Sunscape, is trained by Paul Swaby with Javaniel Patterson aboard. Competing in this class for the first time, he'll need to learn the lay of the land before securing a win.

4 - MO AVIATOR, a bay colt (born April 26) by Northern Giant out of Black Magic, is trained by Jason DaCosta with Phillip Parchment in the saddle. Entering non-two for the first time makes victory challenging.

5 - PRINCESS AKILAH, a bay filly (born February 27) by Nasheet out of Princess Lorna, is trained by Anthony Nunes with Anthony Allen aboard. After three unsuccessful attempts in this class, her lackluster performance will likely continue.

6 - SUPERIO, a bay colt (born March 27) by Soul Warrior out of Ashtrid, is trained by Ian Roberts with Calvin Bailey aboard. Since joining this class, he hasn't shown any promise and was a late scratch on October 21. Superio is not considered a serious contender.

7 - LIFE IS LIFE, a bay colt (born February 18) by Natural Selection out of Little Wasp, is trained by Jason DaCosta with Reyan Lewis in the saddle. He performed well in his first non-winners of two race, finishing second behind Antarctica over nine furlongs. Well-suited for the distance, Life Is Life has a genuine chance at winning.

8 - POWEROFHERHIGHNESS, a bay filly (born May 28) by Key To Power out of Her Royal Highness, is trained by Oral Hayden with Jordan Barrett aboard. She continues to improve and will eventually win her second race.

9 - SECRET ADMIRAL, a chestnut colt (born February 12) by Admiral Alex out of Secret Cat, is trained by Carl Anderson with Richard Henry in the saddle. After a finishing third in the Derby finish, but  48 days after put in a clinker. Secret Admiral can redeem himself here as he has a preference for two-turn races.

10 - SUPER ALEX, a chestnut colt (born February 23) by Admiral Alex out of Jamaican Pharoah, is trained by Carl Anderson with Carl Anderson aboard. Despite improving in the non-two class, he faces his first two-turn race. Super Alex could place well in
