KINGSTON, Jamaica – Deezi a three-year-old bay colt by Northern Giant – Buyabook won the Caymanas Saturday third – which was a two-year-old maiden race at 4 furlongs.

Jockey Phillip Parchment on Deezi decided to move his mount from the outside draw to the middle of the track as the much talked about Sunset Silhoutte (Anthony Thomas), the 1-5 favourite was tardy at the start.

Deezi trained by Jason DaCosta, racing for the third time locked up with his stablemate Tekapunt (Matthew Bennett) and was able to survive by a nose when the winning post arrived. Third went to Awesome Rich (Jerome Innis).
