KINGSTON, Jamaica – The limited number of spectators allowed at the race track because of the COVID-19 restrictions were all on their feet as Attorney General ridden by Aaron Chatrie and SenCity with Dane Nelson aboard were locked in fierce confrontation to decide the winner of the Caymanas Sunday eighth.
At the start it was the likes of Helicopter and Princess Lizzy who set the early fractions with Attorney General occupying fourth place. SenCity got a bad start and was located at the back of the 9 runners in the event.
Nelson made a sweeping move on SenCity with 3 ½ furlongs to go – circling many rivals to enter the straight on the outside.
Then accelerating well, SenCity took over but Chatrie was pumping as hard as he could on Attorney General trained by Spencer Chung and got the job done close home. SenCity was second and Gambler third.
This was the second winner on the day for Chatrie.
