The regulatory agency of horse racing in Jamaica, the Jamaica Racing Commission (JRC) will be hosting a grooms training seminar for licenced grooms on Thursday, October 8, 2026.
The seminar according to the JRC is designed to support the continued training and professional development of grooms, with emphasis on professional standards, horse care and welfare, safety and compliance with the Rules of Racing.
Activities on the day include, Health & Wellness awareness talks along with health checks by the Ministry of Health; Horse Racing Rules Education, Financial Services Agencies (Sagicor and JMMB) Awards, Prizes, Gifts and Recognition.
