KINGSTON, Jamaica – The race for the jockeys’ championship is well and truly on between Anthony Thomas and Dick Cardenas.
The day started with Thomas nine-ahead and he made it 10 after guiding Lady Jaela home in the first race for trainer Ryan Darby.
The response from Cardenas was instant as in the second race, the Panamanian had an easy task winning by 11 lengths on board Unbreakable for his main trainer, Anthony Nunes.
