The eighth of ten races on the Saturday, May 30, 2026 programme is Division Two of the three-year-old maiden call, contested over seven furlongs.
Eight horses are entered to face the starter. The Quick Galloper provides an assessment of the field below, in draw order.
1 – SHESAPLAYER
Bay filly (March 30) by Wannabeaplayer out of One Stop
Trainer – Patrick Lynch
Jockey – Andrew Wright
Shesaplayer was nominated to run on May 10, but her rider fell. That setback delayed her introduction to racing. With the saddle, hopefully, now properly secured, the learning curve begins in earnest for this filly.
2 – JAYDEN’S CHOICE
Chestnut colt (April 25) by Western Warrior out of Helmetta
Trainer – Ricardo Brown
Jockey – Phillip Parchment
Jayden’s Choice enters competitive racing for the first time. Reports suggest he carries some promise, but tackling seven furlongs on debut is a stern assignment. His performance will reveal whether the whispers of ability are justified.
3 – HOORAY HENRY
Bay colt (May 3) by Bern Identity out of Princess Lizzy
Trainer – Peter-John Parsard
Jockey – Dane Dawkins
Hooray Henry has finished second in his last two races, showing consistency and improvement. With that form line, he should be comfortable stretching to seven furlongs. Expect him to be a factor when the race reaches its climax.
4 – WONDERFUL VISION
Bay filly (May 4) by Patton Proud out of Dicolas Brat

Equipment – Blinkers off, cheek pieces on
Despite five starts, Wonderful Vision has yet to suggest victory is within reach. Equipment adjustments are being tried, but her record offers little encouragement.
5 – DARK AUTHORITY
Bay colt (April 16) by Conquest Cherimash out of Rough Love
Trainer – Anthony Nunes
Jockey – Tajay Suckoo
Dark Authority stretches out beyond 5 ½ furlongs for the first time, a move that should suit his running style. He has finished second in his last two outings, edging closer to a breakthrough. This race could provide the platform for his maiden success.
6 – I LOVE BIRDIE
Bay colt (January 22) by Savoy Stamp out of Birdie My Love
Trainer – Fitzroy Glispie
Jockey – Demar Williams
I Love Birdie has already proven stamina, finishing a close second over nine furlongs and 25 yards. Dropping back to seven furlongs should be well within his scope. He arrives primed and ready to deliver a strong challenge.
7 – FOR MY LOVE
Bay filly (March 21) by Sensational Slam out of For Trixie
Trainer – Anthony Nunes
Jockey – Nicardo Carr
From six starts, For My Love remains a work in progress. She continues to learn the demands of racing, and while experience is building, she has yet to make a decisive impact.
8 – CODE RED
Chestnut colt (May 4) by Aveenu Malcainu out of Eighteen Karat
Trainer – Anthony Nunes
Jockey – Eric Haughton
Code Red’s six starts have been marked by inconsistency, with flashes of ability offset by disappointing efforts. His unpredictability makes assessment difficult, but he cannot be dismissed outright.
