1 - SUPERNATURAL POWER (USA)
This talented filly has been competing against the best currently on offer with distinction. She was a mere 2 ¾ lengths adrift of the top-rated horse in the land (April 6) Rideallday, when the latter smashed the track record for 8 ½ furlongs. Now, Supernatural Power drops down to Overnight Allowance which is two classes down from her usual status in Grade One. It will take a brave punter to bet against Supernatural Power.
2 - UNSPUN (USA)
This foreigner has not lived up to expectations since being crowned champion two-year-old – two years ago.
3 - COOKIE DAY N NIGHT
Consistent sort, who will probably go home earning.
4 - CAPTAIN SPARROW
Since reaching Overnight Allowance a while ago, Captain Sparrow has found it difficult. No change is expected here even with the blinkers on.
5 - CALIFORNIA GOLD
Cannot handle these rivals.
6 - WICKED CASSIE (USA)
Since reaching Overnight, Wicked Cassie has been quietly learning the ropes. Will make it with time.
7 - SHEER DELIGHT (USA)
Sheer Delight has found it difficult in Overnight. No change is expected but is given the nod for placing in the exotic wagers.
8 – MAGNIFICENT FORCE (USA)
Has not found the winning post in front since April of 2025. Additional waiting time is required by Magnificent Force. Another who is a good bet for the exotics.
9 - SENSATIONAL SOUL
This former Classic race winner has hit the board on all five occasions he has race in Overnight Allowance. With the distance in his favour expect Sensational Soul to be running on for a minor placing.
10 - MARK MY IDENTITY
This locally bred chestnut colt has been doing exceptionally well since entering the fray of the Overnight Allowance grade. Mark My Identity can be depended on to finish in the top three.
11 - INSPIRE FORCE (USA)
Has no realistic chance of winning this one.
12 - IS THAT A FACT (USA)
It is difficult to assess the chances of this foreigner. On his best day, he is able to compete, then will be missing in action. He will enjoy the distance but his best bet is a top three finish.
