Trainer Gary Subratie followed up his win with Salute The Don in the Sir Howard Stakes on Saturday, February 21, with a victory on Sunday with his charge Royal Poppy at Gulfstream Park.
Royal Poppy ridden by Javier Castellano and owned by local owner Trevor James, won an Allowance Optional Claiming call over seven-furlongs on the dirt.
Royal Poppy clocked 1:23.1 for the distance.
