The fourth race on Saturday, March 7, 2026, is the feature event of the day, the SVREL 9th Anniversary Trophy (Grade 1).
This sprint has attracted six starters, four of them from the powerful barn of leading trainer Anthony Nunes, who holds a commanding hand in the outcome.
The contest will be run over five and a half furlongs, and The Quick Galloper offers an analysis of the likely result, horse by horse, in draw order.
1 - MONEY MARKET
This a six-year-old, has rediscovered his best form in recent weeks. He enters this race on the back of two consecutive victories, the latest on February 14 down the five-straight course, where he defeated Of A Revolution by over a length. Money Market has the ability to race close to the pace, and that tactical speed may be essential if he is to secure another win at this level.
2 - ZULU WARRIOR
Has done remarkably well to reach Grade 1 company. His presence could influence the headlines if he manages to disrupt the established order.
3 – ALLEGIANCE
Allegiance appears to have been entered primarily to support stablemate, and on bare form looks unlikely to trouble the principals.
4 - OF A REVOLUTION
This foreigner was bumped at the start in his last effort but recovered to finish third behind Money Market and Mighty Gully. He is expected to fare better around the bend, and with a cleaner break, he is well poised to secure his second local win. A genuine contender if things fall his way. In addition, Of A Revolution races with the visor on.
5 - SMART TRICK
Smart Trick looks outclassed in this company and is likely to be making up the numbers.
6 - INSPIRE FORCE
Another runner entered to bolster the barn’s representation and is not expected to feature prominently in the finish.
THE QUICK GALLOPER’S VERDICT
The feature is set to revolve around Money Market and Of A Revolution. The former brings winning momentum and tactical speed, while the latter has scope to improve with a smoother passage. Between them, they should dominate proceedings, with Of A Revolution holding the slight edge if he breaks cleanly.
