On Saturday, April 12, 2025, five-year-old bay horse, Tigeramedat secured a close victory in the Restricted Allowance II race at 7½ furlongs . Under the guidance of trainer Anthony “Baba” Nunes and jockey Shane Ellis, Tigeramedat marked his second win of the season, having participated in five races.
The race commenced with Lion Charmer, ridden by Raddesh Roman, and Golden Syrup, under Omar Walker’s reins, taking the lead. Tigeramedat positioned himself comfortably in third, patiently waiting for the right moment to strike. As they entered the backstretch, Golden Syrup took a firm grip on the lead, but Ellis remained composed, allowing Tigeramedat to conserve energy.

As they entered the final stretch, Tigeramedat surged ahead, easily distancing himself from the pack. Despite a last-ditch effort from Lion Charmer, Tigeramedat exhibited his strength and determination, finishing with a decisive 1¼-length lead.
In the final standings, Tigeramedat crossed the finish line first, with Lion Charmer securing second place, while Uncaptured Empress, ridden by Shane Richardson, took third. The race concluded with a time of 1:34.1, recorded in splits of 24.2, 48.0, 1:13.4, and 1:27.1.
