KINGSTON, Jamaica - The new wind blowing in 2020 brought welcomed success for veteran trainer Michael Hall whose charge Acapella just won the third race Caymanas Park.
Ridden by champion jockey Christopher Mamdeen who was riding his first winner for 2020, Acapella was with the early pack in the five furlong round contest which had five-year-olds and upwards entered.
In the straight in was close going but Mamdeen used his strength to bring home Acapella at odds of 7-1.
Second was Danceallnight (Roger Hewitt – 10-1) with Crucial Treasure, who broke down in just before reaching the finish line in third.
