KINGSTON, Jamaica – Scheduled for New Year's Day, the Fan Appreciation Day Trophy features as the sixth race on Monday, January 1, 2023.

This contest for three-year-olds and up in the Overnight call has attracted 11 starters, competing at a distance of nine furlongs and 25 yards.

The Quick Galloper has analyzed all 11 runners and shared the insights below for our readers:

1 – OUTBIDDER is an inconsistent performer but can be a contender on a good day. Outbidder has prepared well for the Fan Appreciation Day Trophy according to morning observers and is expected to earn.

2 – NEO STAR showed quality during his first Overnight on December 2, narrowly losing by a neck to Rainsville. Despite an increase in weight from 112 lbs to 123 lbs, this in utero bay horse possesses the necessary credentials to secure his fifth win out of seven starts. Neo Star is bound to be present at decision time.

3 – POSITIVE ID's recent performance lacks any semblance of form. Therefore, he is unlikely to be victorious in this race.

4 – RHYTHM BUZZ showcased impressive talent in winning at the non-winners of four category, qualifying for the higher status of Overnight Allowance. Rhythm Buzz should enjoy the two turns of nine furlongs and 25 yards.

5 – PRINCE MARSHALL is still searching for his identity.

6 – ZION struggles to acclimate to the pace and rivals at this level.

7 – D HEAD CORNERSTONE faces Neo Star with better handicaps after finishing just short of victory on December 2 over the same distance. A veteran of Overnight races, D Head Cornerstone has a solid chance of winning, though his selected rider may not inspire much confidence.

8 – SENSATIONAL MOVE enters Overnight for the first time and needs more time to adjust.

9 – SUNSET SILHOUTTE is generally a consistent performer, though her weakest showing took place over the nine furlongs and 25 yards on December 2. An upset could be in store.

10 – BABYLIKE is not yet prepared for this level of competition.

11 – JUSTIN BIDEN deserves credit for ascending to this grade but has more to learn.
