KINGSTON, Jamaica – It was expected, it was waited for and Stranger Danger delivered with an aplomb which now means he has raced eight times and has won eight times.

Stranger Danger won the sixth race, the Grade One, Governor General Stakes over 10 furlongs.

Ridden by his now regular ride Omar Walker, Stranger Danger racing two turns (10 furlongs) for the first time set off on the outside but was closely tracked by Fayrouz (Anthony Thomas) until reaching the backstretch when Stranger Danger took over on the lead.

Houdini’s Magic (Dane Dawkins) then attacked and went by Stanger Danger with Walker just watching and waiting.

Leaving the half-mile marker, Walker said enough is enough pushing through Stranger Danger who just went further and further away for another facile victory.

Bigdaddykool finished second with Houdini’s Magic third.

The winning time was 2:06.4 after splits of 24.2 x 50.1 x 1:14.2 x 1:38.4.
