The lead after the starter let them go was a locked affair involving Sergeant Reckless (Javaniel Patterson) at odds of 55-1 and 3-5 favourite God Love (Christopher Mamdeen).
That dispute was still in place entering the straight with no quarter given and that allowed Bruce Wayne with his stretch run to get home quite easily.
