KINGSTON, Jamaica – After riding a spanking triple on the last race day, apprentice Tevin Foster again displayed that he is now in the pink of form as he just guided the Michael Marlowe trained Heiroffive to a facile win in the fifth race on the Saturday card at Caymanas Park.
Racing in a maiden condition event for three-year-olds – over six furlongs, Heiroffire drawn on the outside flashed into the lead and was relatively easy although being challenged by Thepowersthatbe (Christopher Mamdeen).
After three furlongs, Foster went about his business on Heiroffire and that was that.
Heiroffire won by 3 ¾ lengths from Thepowersthatbe with third the position of 99-1 chance, Candlelight.
This was Foster’s 28th winner for 2019.
