KINGSTON, Jamaica – As is to be expected these days, apprentice Christopher Mamdeen started the 10-race mid-week card at Caymanas Park with a win, this time on board the Dwight Chen trained Beach Boy.
Racing in a Maiden Condition event for three-year-olds, Beach Boy the 1-5 favourite made one move and was never headed winning by 6 ½ lengths in the 5 ½ furlong contest.
The race was stripped of its competitiveness following the very withdrawals of Father Ken and Bala Gris both first time runners leaving only five horses in the race.
Second went to Raw Liquid (2-1) with third the spot occupied by Money Marshall.
