KINGSTON, Jamaica – Word has come the way of Quickgallop.com of the passing of former jockey Derrick Ramgeet. He was in his mid-60s.
Up to 2010, Ramgeet had ridden 196 winners according to the official statistics including a major triumph in the 1979 Red Stripe Superstakes aboard the Kenneth Mattis -trained Mento Maid.
