KINGSTON, Jamaica – Seven horses go to the starting gates in the seventh race on Saturday, August 13, 2022. That event is an Overnight Allowance call for three-year-olds and upwards horses going a mile.
The analysis of the seven runners in this contest is published below in post-position order.
1 – She Boom is still trying to find her way in this grouping. That quest continues Saturday.
2 – True Al Sky enters the grade for the first time in fine shape following a win in non-four. True Al Sky will win in Overnight but not on Saturday.
3 – Lord of Ajahlon has done well to reach this far, with the connections deserving their kudos. Yet, he is not ready to take on the principals in this one.
4 – She’s My Destiny is vying for her sixth victory from nine starts, and this talented filly could not have found an easier spot to do so. She goes up by 12 pounds and travels longer than seven furlongs for the first time. She’s My Destiny will be the leader and has to be caught. All the signs indicate that She’s My Destiny will not have an issue with the distance.
5 – Sir John moves up to Overnight and cannot be considered a face in this one.
6 – Big Big Daddy has been making the rounds in Overnight for a while now with nothing to show for his efforts. He has an opportunity of hitting the board.
7 – Best Daughter Ever returned from a long break on July 16, to finish a favourable second behind the out-of-class Big Jule. Having that outing under her girth, Best Daughter Ever should be better off despite going up significantly in the weights. Plus, she will relish a mile.
