KINGSTON, Jamaica – After a bad start when the gates opened, Messi under patient handling from veteran jockey Oneil Mullings turned out to be quite an easy winner of the day’s (Saturday, April 27) sixth race at Caymanas Park.
Mullings bided his time well before striking at long-time leader Kalahari at the top of the straight in the one-mile Restricted Allowance IV non-winners of three – four-year-olds event.
Kalahari was second and Dezzy The Genuis third.
Messi is tarined by Philip Feanny.
The winning time was 1:40.2.
