Trained by David Lee Sin, Genuine Article won a claiming race (180,000 - $150,000) for five-year-olds and up run over the five-straight course.
Second went Captain Granville at 8-1 while in the third slot was rank 99-1 outsider Director Daley. Director Daley paid $1,338 to place.
