Trained by Anthony Ferguson, Paintthistownred broke winging in the Restricted Allowance (five-year-olds and up) non-winners of two event covering seven furlongs, and was never headed.
Paintthistownred won by 1 ½ lengths from Lady Budget who was hampered at the start with First Selection third.
Jockey Daniel Satchell fell from his mount Astro when the gates opened.
Painthistownred and Lady Budget combined for a whopping exacta of $45,504 and a Trifecta of $141,678.
