KINGSTON, Jamaica – Former top racer Another Affair last week gave birth to her first foal – a colt at the Orange Valley Estates Stud Farm in St James.
The sire of Another Affair first foal is Sunshine N Shadow.
In her brief racing career, Another Affair by Nuclear Wayne out of Commandra Affair finished second in the 1000 Guineas, second in the Jamaica Oaks and third in the Jamaica Derby. Another Affair was trained by Gary Subratie and owned by Michros. Another Affair is a full sister to 1000 Guineas winner Nuclear Affair.
Sunshine N Shadow’s (Wildcat Heir out of Folk Art by Bertrando), first crop is now in training as two-year-olds.
Sunshine N Shadow once owned by Michael Bernard won three races at Gulfstream Park, including a seven-furlong event in a time of 1:22.2.
