KINGSTON, Jamaica – For this Saturday's (April 9) race meet, THE QUICK WHISPERER makes a change to the horses to follow.
Instead of listing the horses to follow, races will be targeted with the relevant bets offered to readers.
In this new attempt, three races (the second, third and ninth) are targeted.
The second is a three and four-year-old non-four for local bred horses and for foreigners (non-three) going five furlongs straight.
The betting is sure to surround Talona and Double Diva. It is difficult to see this race not being taken by any of the five other starters. What might be interesting is the exacta and trifecta wagers. The QUICK WHISPERER is suggesting that an exacta with Double Diva, Talona, and Will The Conquerer might yield some unexpected results. The trifecta is a bet to be also pursued.
The third race is a three-year-old and upwards Optional Claimer ($550,000 - $450,000) at 4 ½ furlongs.
Sudden Flight is the warm morning line favourite and more than likely will oblige. Buying this sure to be odds on favourite along with Speechless and Formal Gladiator in an exacta box plus a trifecta with the same three horses will not harm.
The ninth event is a three-year-old maiden condition call going six furlongs. Again, an odds-on favourite is in the making with Supreme Song expected to sell down the board.
Going the exacta route one more time, Supreme Song and Get A Pepsi are chosen for an exacta box. For the trifecta add Mila’s All That.
