Sir Fredrick at odds of 2-5 with blinkers on
KINGSTON, Jamaica – Twelve-year-old bay horse notched win number eight from 54 career starts with a facile victory in the Caymanas Sunday (April 3, 2022), first, which was a five-year-old and upwards Claimer ($180,000 - $150,000), going four furlongs.
Racing for the first time under the care of trainer Dennis Thwaites, with Hakeem Pottinger in the saddle, Sir Fredrick racing, blinkers on, had very little to do, as he went to the lead from the off and was never really challenged although the winning margin was three parts of a length.
Second was Timetosaygoodbye (Roger Hewitt), with King Livity (Kiaman McGregor) third.
