KINGSTON, Jamaica – Trainer Errol Waugh had his best day in a while when he closed the 11-race card at Caymanas Park with a double after Sendamessagetomama turned out to be an easy winner of the Restricted Allowance V event run over seven furlongs. Waugh’s other winner was Loose Cannon which came in the tenth race.
Sendamessagetomama was ridden to victory by apprentice Christopher Mamdeen who also completed a double on the day.
Mamdeen took his winning tally for the year to 23, just two wins behind leader Omar Walker on 25.
Second in the race was long-time leader Kappone (Simon Husbands) with Sacrifice (Raddesh Roman) in the third slot.
The winning time for seven furlongs was $1:28.3.
