Lacrimae the pre-race favourite
KINGSTON, Jamaica – The watch by THE QUICK GALLOPER of the 2022, three-year-olds continues with section two of a maiden condition contest at 5 ½ furlongs.
The analysis by THE QUICK GALLOPER listed below is of the 10 horses in section two, the fourth race of eleven at Caymanas Park on Saturday, March 26, 2022.
1 – NEVER ON A SUNDAY: (3 b f by Midnight Hawk – Kenzie’s Charm) – First timer who will benefit from the experience.
2 – LACRIMAE: (3 gr f by Savoy Stomp – Pleasant Ending) – Heavily backed on her two starts to date finishing fourth both times, and having those two runs under her girth, Lacrimae has the best chance of doing away with the maiden tag. Note Lacrimae races with first time Lasix.
3 – SHE’S MY FRIEND: (3 b f by Natural Selection – My Friend Lucy) – She’s A Friend is learning her trade.
4 – MISS CALEESI: (3 b f by Midnight Hawk – Auntie Rhoda) – Not ready for these.
5 – MINDEWAK: (3 b f by Lion Tamer – Aura Mas) – Four starts to date, and as yet for Minidewak, who can best hope for a place on the board.
6 – SELECT ME: (3 dk b f by Natural Selection – Excellence) – Difficult to see this one winning.
7 – DUJOUR: (3 dk f by Force De Jour – First Kiss) – Can be easily discarded.
8 – SHE’S HALL DAT: (3 ch f by Market Rally – Noassemblyrequired) – This newcomer has been attracting some morning onlookers. She’s Hall Dat has been well prepared for this encounter and is said to be one with early potential. Watch She's All Dat one closely.
9 – THE EXODUS: (3 dk b f by Fearless Vision – Special Report) – This filly is racing for the first occasion, needs time.
10 – PLATINUM PEPSI: (3 b f Blue Pepsi Lodge – Kait’s Great) – Seems to be improving with every run. Expect a good effort from Platinum Pepsi.
