Oldster Ras Emanuel, Sweet N Smart the main dangers

4 – ACERO: (4-year-old chestnut colt by Lion Tamer – Electrifying) – Comes from a distinguished dam line of sprinters. Acero has won two of his last three races to enter Overnight Allowance for the first occasion. Acero is fit and ready to challenge these, yet cannot be given the nod to win first time of asking in Overnight.
5 – CASUAL AFFAIR: (five-year-old bay gelding by Casual Trick – Midnight In Paris) – The only of the seven entered without a realistic chance of winning, as moving from Claiming to Overnight is a daunting task.
6 – RACE CAR: (five-year-old grey horse USA by Race Day -McDuffie) – The connections of Race Car are to be congratulated for bringing this foreigner back to competitive racing after injury and recovery lasting approximately 18 months. When Race Car returned from his sojourn of revival on February 12, he finished a close second behind Go Deh Girl. With that having been accomplished, Race Car is ready to enter the winners’ enclosure again.
7 – SWEET N SMART: (five-year-old bay mare USA by Smarty Jones – Sweet Margi) – This US bred mare has done well in her two attempts in the Overnight grouping and is not to be taken lightly in this sprint.
