KINGSTON, Jamaica – Racing for the second occasion with first time Lasix administered, the US bred three-year-old bay gelding Jordan Reign’s (Mosler – Dearie Be Good) made it two wins in a row with a scorching run in the Jamaica Day second. The Jamaica Day second was for imported three-year-olds (non- winners of three races), and local bred three and four year-olds (non-winners of four), at a distance of 5 ½ furlongs.

Jordan Reign’s, ridden by Omar Walker for trainer Ian Parsard, took a while to enter the starting gates but when the go lever was pressed, he stumbled out but was quickly gathered, and was pushed to the lead with Regnant (Anthony Thomas) providing the early challenge as the two separated themselves from the rest of the pack. Half way during the race Jordan Reign’s gained the ascendency and then quickened impressively in the straight to leave rivals in his wake.

Jordan Reign’s defeated Secret Identity (Dick Cardenas) by four lengths with Hoist The Mast (Tevin Foster) third.

Jordan Reign’s clocked a zippy 1:05.2 for the trip.
