KINGSTON, Jamaica - Twenty two horses led by the Ian Parsard trained Mahogany have been provisionally entered for this year's Gold Cup to be run on Saturday, October 23. The Gold is run over a distance of seven furlongs (1400 metres).
The top weight that can be carried by any horses in any race in Jamaica is 126 lb or 57.0 kgs, while the minimum weight is fixed at 101 lb or 46.0 kgs.
