KINGSTON, Jamaica – In a rasping finish to the Caymanas Saturday third, co-champion and leading rider Anthony Thomas on Rohan Kabir outdid Shane Ellis aboard Let Him Fly.

Rohan Kabir gained his sixth win from 39 starts in a high claimer (three-year-old and upwards - $1 million - $800,000) going a mile.

It was foreigner Fake (Oneil Mullings) who set off in front tracked by Let Him Fly and Rohan Kabir.

In typical Ellis style, Let Him Fly pushed through on the rails with three furlongs left in the event to assume the lead followed by Fake and Rohan Kabir.

Let Him Fly, however, went wide entering the lane - taking Fake with him as Thomas seized the opportunity by going to the inside rails on Rohan Kabir.

Although Let Him Fly raced wide he still had the lead but that advantage was slowly whittled down by Thomas and Rohan Kabir, who went on to win by a neck. Let Him Fly was second and Fake third.

Rohan Kabir is trained by Johnny Wilmot.
