KINGSTON, Jamaica – Looking a peach in the parade before the race, Nuclear Emma out-sprinted her eight opponents to win the Caymanas Saturday fourth with consummate easy
Ridden by Paul ‘Country’ Francis and trained by Johnny Wilmot, Nuclear Emma shot to the front with Francis having to tighten his hold in order to keep his mount settled.
In the stretch drive, Nuclear Emma kept up her fierce gallop to win by 5 ½ lengths.
Adwa (Jordan Barrett) was second and Faulyna Forever (Dick Cardenas) took third place.
